Founded 1947 as “Firma Telegraphenbaubedarf W. Valentin”, the first facility was a small barn in Sachsenhausen/Edersee in the North of Hesse/Germany.
Regardless of the dramatic economic conditions in the post war periode, the metal-processing company grew up to a very important supplier of the federal Post in the section of telecommunications at that time.

The fabrication under the lead of the entrepreneur Wilhelm Valentin conisting of branch-connections and branch-endconnections made of cast-iron, laid the foundation of the “Telebau Elektro- and Fernmeldetechnik GmbH” as it is known today, featuring a modern and widespread range of products in the fields of isdn, VoIP, wireless internet (wlan) and ADSL.

Since the liberalization of the post monopoly, the company became very popular as a private supplier of telecommunications. The know-how in telephone techniques, which was proven over many years, is an advantage for today’s innovative prouct-conceptions.

The first self-designed analogue telephone system already had the proprietary name TELNET, standing for comprehensive telecommunication products established today.
